Oktoberfest!!!

After Prague we went to Munich and Oktoberfest which was simply the craziest party I have ever been to in my life.  We were there on a weekday and there were 60,000 plus people there.  18 tents filled with people and just lots of singing, dancing, drinking, and laughing going on.  It was also great because my good friend from VT, Elisabeth and her brother Stoney both live in Munich now and speak fluent German so they were very helpful in translating for us.  The first night we arrived at got to Oktoberfest at 5PM and immediately had a liter of Mass (beer) in our hands.  Thats pretty much how the next 48 hours went and the guys agreed it was the best time in Europe!

Berlin & Prague

Our enormous Czech meal! What Min and I woke up to everyday... The next morning we actually missed our 7 AM train out of Amsterdam but when we got to the train station at 9 AM they said to just grab the next one in 20 minutes, so no big deal.  We got into Berlin around 4 PM and it was raining bad and just seemed very dreary.  By the time we got to the hostel and got settled it was 6 PM and we decided to just go to a local bar and watch the NFL.  It was pretty fun and we even met a guy who plays offensive line for a Berlin football team.

Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam

Beer at McDonald's! Shaffer bought a $10 Coke That's right Mary, Wok to Walk! Introducing, Faith +1 We took a very early 7 AM train from London to Paris and slept the entire way because with only one day in Paris we knew we were going to have a lot to do that day.  First we saw the Arc de Triump and then we started walking down the Champs de Elysse.  We had McD's for lunch where you can order a beer with your Royal w/ cheese.  We then walked by the Lourve but the line was way to long so we kept walking and took a tour of Notre Dame Cathedral.  Then we went to the Eiffel Tower where we all walked up 21 flights to the first tier then Min and I walked another 22 flights to get to the second tier.  We went back to the Lourve then and were able to do the after 6pm tour and we of course saw the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and much more.  We got dinner at a French Cafe where I got some amazing duck and Shaffer ha...
