We walked around Dublin Castle today but didn't take the tour because of the weather and having to pick-and-choose our activities. From there we walked to St. Patrick's Cathedral which we all really enjoyed and it was in our opinion the best cathedral we saw on the trip. We then went and took a tour of the Kilmainham Gaol which was an old Irish prison where they held and executed many of the leaders of the Irish rebellion in the early 20th century and it was a pretty good tour. At night we went out in the Temple Bar area again and actually found a bar that was playing some NFL football where we drank for the rest of the night.
The next morning we flew to London and checked into our hostel which was actually in a really nice area of London and all the cars outside were BMW's, Mercedes, Porsche's, and Jaguars. We went into the city and Min & Shaf tried to take a tour of the Tower of London (I had done this already on a previous trip) but didnt have enough time so instead took a tour of the Tower Bridge. I just walked around London by the river taking in some sights. That night we walked around Piccadilly Circus and surprisingly found a restaurant that served really good BBQ. After that we went to a bar called the Duke of Argyle and had a few beers. The next day we started by going to Buckingham Palace and walking around that area a bit. Then Min & Shaf went to Westminster Abbey and took the tour while I walked around London some more and visited Waterloo. We all met up after that, had a quick lunch, and went over to Trafalgar Square, one of the biggest squares in Europe and spent an hour looking at art in the National Gallery. Afterwards Min and Shaf finally took their tour of the Tower of London which they both liked a lot while I went to the National History Museum which was really cool and had a great dinosaur exhibit. We rested at the hostel for a few and then met up with Shaf's sister's fiance Julian at night and he took us around Piccadilly and we ate and drank at a bar called O'Connor's.
