Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam

Beer at McDonald's!

Shaffer bought a $10 Coke

That's right Mary, Wok to Walk!

Introducing, Faith +1

We took a very early 7 AM train from London to Paris and slept the entire way because with only one day in Paris we knew we were going to have a lot to do that day.  First we saw the Arc de Triump and then we started walking down the Champs de Elysse.  We had McD's for lunch where you can order a beer with your Royal w/ cheese.  We then walked by the Lourve but the line was way to long so we kept walking and took a tour of Notre Dame Cathedral.  Then we went to the Eiffel Tower where we all walked up 21 flights to the first tier then Min and I walked another 22 flights to get to the second tier.  We went back to the Lourve then and were able to do the after 6pm tour and we of course saw the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and much more.  We got dinner at a French Cafe where I got some amazing duck and Shaffer had a $10 dollar coca-cola, lol.  We then saw the Eiffel Tower lit up at night, got some French wine and retired back to the hostel.
The next morning we had a short train to Brussels and when we got there we walked around and took in the few sights Brussels has to offer.  We got Frites (french fries) and they had over 40 sauces to try, most of them being awesome.  We also got a fresh belgian waffle covered in nutella and strawberry's and it was AWESOME!  We found a local bar then and spent the rest of our time there, meeting a fellow traveler, Curtis Webber, while there.  Overall Brussels was a lot of fun and gave our legs the break they desparately needed.  We got into Amsterdam the next day around 1 PM and immediately got Wok to Walk, which I love and was so good.  The rest of day we just walked around Amsterdam taking in the canals, bars, and red light district.  The next day we had to do our laundry first as after 1 week of living out of a backpack all of our clothes were on short supply.  We then went to the Van Gough museum which was cool but waaay over-priced and then went on the Heineken brewery tour which was a lot of fun and had a lot of cool old commercials and beer tastings.  The rest of the night we walked around stopping in a few places as we went.

Africa Part 2

On our 4th day in Africa we went to Lake Manyara part which was much different and more jungle like then the rest of the parks.  This park was pretty much overrun by baboons and we also found a hippo pool and watched as 8 of them came out onto land.  On the 5th day we drove to the Serengeti and stopped to look into the huge Ngorogoro crater.  We got to watch a lion stalk a group of gazelles and then saw a cheetah too!  Lastly we saw some lion cubs.  TBC tomorrow...
